Our client briefed us on creating a series of high frequency 7" TV Sspots on SuperSport blitz to air around the2015 Rugby World Cup.
We saw an opportunity to do more than a handful of short hard-sell TVCs. Instead of trying to cram a sales message into a few seconds, we used the spots as teasers for a microsite.
We created a microsite and developed a custom interactive HTML5 video player to house Celebrity Betmatch, a unique platform where users could essentially bet on celebrities in a series of interactive challenges using desktop, tablet and mobile devices.With an increase of 34% on bets placed over the campaign period, and driving BET.co.za’s highest grossing month ever, it worked.
