Role Overview

Iconic is looking for a talented Junior–Mid Art Director to join the team.

We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for design, culture and storytelling, who can help bring ideas to life across social, digital, campaign and branded content work.

You’ll join a small but powerful creative team, helping to transform strategy into visual ideas that cut through culturally and commercially.

This role is ideal for someone eager to grow, contribute ideas, and create work that resonates.

What You’ll Do

Concept & Art Direction

  • Develop visual ideas for brand campaigns, social content, digital work, key visuals, pitch work and presentations.

  • Translate strategy into insightful, original creative concepts.

  • Help shape the look and feel of creative work from early concept through to execution.

  • Bring a strong cultural and visual perspective to ideas, especially across entertainment, sport and lifestyle brands.

Design & Creative Execution

  • Create polished design work across digital, print, social, motion and film-related formats.

  • Work confidently across layout, typography, visual direction and campaign design.

  • Adapt across different visual styles while maintaining strong craft and clarity.

  • Help ensure work feels globally ambitious and locally rooted.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Producers, Strategists, Motion Designers and Editors.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, relevant ideas.

  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure work is creatively strong and technically achievable.

  • Be comfortable presenting and articulating creative thinking clearly.

Craft & Delivery

  • Deliver high-quality creative work on time and on brief.

  • Prepare design files for print, digital, social and motion hand-off.

  • Maintain consistency across different formats, channels and campaign assets.

  • Take feedback well and push work forward with care and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

Portfolio that shows:

  • Strong conceptual thinking and craft.

  • A clear eye for design, layout, typography, colour and composition.

  • Smart, simple and culturally relevant ideas.

  • Confidence across design and visual direction.

  • An understanding of culture, trends and contemporary visual language.

  • The ability to adapt across different brands, formats and styles.

Technical Skills

  • Confident in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

  • Comfortable working across branding, editorial, digital, social and campaign work.

  • Experience or interest in motion design is a bonus.

  • Experience with current AI tools and an example of how you use them in your workflow.

  • Or an example of any other workflow augmentation that improves how you create.
